In April 1945, the Japanese super-battleship Yamato, the largest battleship in the world, and nine other Japanese warships, embark from Japan for a one-way attack on Allied forces engaged in the Battle of Okinawa. However, they will never reach Okinawa, as carrier strike aircraft of the US Navy descend from the clouds to send Yamato and five other Japanese warships to the bottom.
